3521 Automotive Maintenance Technician

What a 3521 Does

Automotive Maintenance Technicians keep Marine trucks, Humvees and other wheeled vehicles running. You will inspect, service, diagnose and repair engines, brakes, electrical systems and more at the field level. It is a hands-on mechanic job with skills that carry over well to civilian automotive work.

• MM (Mechanical Maintenance) = AR + MC + EI + AS. Study: Arithmetic Reasoning, Mechanical Comprehension, Electronics Information, Auto and Shop

Marine Corps line scores average 100, and most people score between 60 and 140. Marine GT adds Mechanical Comprehension, so it is calculated differently from Army GT.
