What a 0341 Does
Mortarmen operate the light and medium mortars that give infantry companies and battalions their own quick, close fire support. You will learn to set up the mortar, calculate firing data, handle rounds safely and adjust fire onto targets. It is hands-on, math-heavy teamwork carried out in the field with the infantry.
Scores That Count for 0341
- GT (General Technical) = AR + MC + VE. Study: Arithmetic Reasoning, Mechanical Comprehension, Word Knowledge, Paragraph Comprehension
Marine Corps line scores average 100, and most people score between 60 and 140. Marine GT adds Mechanical Comprehension, so it is calculated differently from Army GT.
