What a 42A Does
Human resources specialists handle the personnel side of the Army. You process records, awards, promotions, evaluations and pay related actions, and help Soldiers with the paperwork that keeps their careers on track. It is an office based job that builds strong administrative and customer service skills.
Scores That Count for 42A
- CL (Clerical) = VE + AR + MK. Study: Word Knowledge, Paragraph Comprehension, Arithmetic Reasoning, Mathematics Knowledge
Army line scores average 100, and most people score between 60 and 140. Besides the main sections listed, the Army formula gives a small weight to your other sections too.
