What a 4Y0X1 Does
Dental Assistants support Air Force dentists during exams, cleanings, fillings, and oral surgery. They prepare patients and instruments, take x-rays, sterilize equipment, and help keep the clinic running. With experience, some Airmen go on to train as dental hygienists or move into dental clinic management roles.

- G (General) = AR + VE. Study: Arithmetic Reasoning, Word Knowledge, Paragraph Comprehension
MAGE scores are percentiles: a G of 55 means you scored as well as or better than 55 percent of the reference group. Some jobs also use the TAPAS personality test or the Predictive Success Model (PSM), which are given separately.
