3P0X1 Security Forces

What a 3P0X1 Does

Security Forces Airmen protect Air Force bases, people, aircraft, and nuclear weapons. Duties include law enforcement patrols, controlling base entry, base defense, and responding to emergencies both at home and while deployed. Expect weapons training, shift work, and strict standards for conduct, background, and physical readiness.

Scores That Count for 3P0X1

• G (General) = AR + VE. Study: Arithmetic Reasoning, Word Knowledge, Paragraph Comprehension

MAGE scores are percentiles: a G of 55 means you scored as well as or better than 55 percent of the reference group. Some jobs also use the TAPAS personality test or the Predictive Success Model (PSM), which are given separately.

Other Requirements

• U.S. citizenship required
• Secret security clearance eligibility
• Must be eligible to carry firearms
• Must pass a red/green color vision test
